Due to a large increase of additional machinery into our rapidly expanding fleet, an opportunity is available for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our dynamic team in our New Plymouth branch.
The work hours for this position are 07:00-16:00 Mon-Friday with the requirement to work extra hours and shifts when required. Based out of a fully equipped workshop, this is an exciting and challenging role for an experienced mechanic to carry out the following tasks:
- Diagnosing and repairing a variety of heavy loaders, excavators, material handlers, trucks and trailers
- Servicing machinery
- Repairs to attachments, grapples, log heads, clamps
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:
- Heavy Equipment – Trade Certified (preferably A grade)
- Experienced and familiar with Hydraulic systems
- Proven history of working on Heavy machinery
- Minimum Class 2 license
- Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment
- Excellent attitude
- Physically fit
